Six new luxury flats over six retail units located on a 'town square' concept location at the heart of the Great Denham western urban expansion to Bedford. Construction to first floor was traditional load bearing masonry on which sits a precast concrete slab base for a timber frame to form the structure for the first-floor flats. The floor plan was radiused in two locations which provided a challenging roof shape and first floor clad in slate effect tiles and engineered cedar cladding respectively.
